Military Family Bereavement Study

Are you a military family who is grieving the loss of a loved one? The National Military Family Bereavement Study seeks participants for a congressionally directed medical research study to look at how families cope with the death of an active duty soldier, identifying the unique factors of a military death and how that impacts surviving families.  The study consists of several phases including an initial online questionnaire, followed by multiple family interviews over several years and a series of focus groups.    SAVE is proud to support and be a collaborating agency with the Center for Traumatic Stress on the National Military Family Bereavement Study.  If you or someone you know is interested in taking part in this study, email info@militarysurvivorstudy.org asking for more information or visit the website www.militarysurvivorstudy.org.
